Emory shines at Decatur Book Festival

The Emory tent was busy Saturday, Oct. 1, as the Decatur Book Festival brought authors and literary fans to downtown Decatur’s First Baptist Church for a day of readings and panel discussions. Emory University is the presenting sponsor for the festival and Emory-affiliated authors were well-represented in the lineup.

Emory’s tent hosted a steady stream of visitors Saturday with information from the Emory Libraries, the Carlos MuseumEmory Arts, the Schwartz Center for Performing Arts and Candler Foundry (an initiative from Candler School of Theology that offers short courses for churches and communities) — and more.
