The annual “Refresh from Stress” program is underway, with new activities to help faculty and staff take simple steps toward improving stress management and resilience. The program began Aug. 1 and runs through Sept. 30.

Taking time to engage in simple and fun activities to boost your mood and improve stress management is good for everyone, and Emory’s annual “Refresh from Stress” program can help you find new tactics to try. This year’s program began Aug. 1 and runs through Sept. 30.

For 2022, the Healthy Emory Team designed four activities (three self-guided challenges and one video) to help you incorporate quick and easy strategies for increasing your capacity to respond to and manage your stress.

Two new offerings this year include:

  • Free webinars designed by our partners at Kaiser Permanente to help you learn the tools needed to better cope with stress and build resiliency. A new topic will be addressed each Wednesday in September. Learn more and register for the series or whichever webinar most interests you.
  • Yoga and Tai Chi classes each week in September. In-person classes will be hosted at select locations, plus each class will be livestreamed for all employees to join. Register to attend in person or online.

To register for Refresh from Stress, download the Sharecare app through the Healthy Emory Connect web page. Once you join Sharecare, click Refresh from Stress for details about each challenge.
