Blomeyer Health Fitness Center is expanding operating hours and offering a new membership option that includes both on-site and virtual programs at no additional charge.

If one of your goals for 2022 is to get more active, Blomeyer Health Fitness Center is here to help with new program options and expanded operating hours.

The new Blomeyer One membership plan offers a hybrid model of services and programs, making it easy to keep engaged whether you’re working on campus or at home. Members choosing this option can access classes, personal training and programs at the fitness center and remotely.

All Blomeyer Health Fitness Center members are eligible to participate at no additional cost to their regular Blomeyer membership. Any Emory University or Emory Healthcare employee can join Blomeyer.

The staff at Blomeyer have kept health and safety at the forefront throughout the pandemic. In-person group fitness classes were reintroduced in October 2021 and programming will continue to increase in 2022.

Current operational guidelines include:

  • Requiring appointments to use the fitness center
  • Requiring that face masks be worn at all times in the facility
  • Limiting workout sessions to 60 minutes
  • Reduced equipment availability for social distancing purposes
  • Increased sanitation and cleaning of the facility
  • Open restrooms, but with a limited number of showers available

Visit the Blomeyer FAQ page for a complete list of modifications.

Beginning in February, operating hours will be 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday. Blomeyer Health Fitness Center is located on the fifth floor of the 1525 Emory Clinic on Clifton Road. Onsite parking is available and the center includes strength training, cardio and group fitness areas.
