Center for Women seeks feedback on Lactation Support Program

The Center for Women at Emory is seeking feedback on Emory's Lactation Support Program from past, present and future breastfeeding mothers through an online survey.

In 2013, the Center received an award from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Women's Health, to implement the Emory Breastfeeding Education Project. The purpose of the project was to increase knowledge of Emory’s Lactation Support Program in order to encourage breastfeeding and support a more women- and family-friendly work environment at Emory.

The Center is now evaluating how well the program is meeting the needs of breastfeeding mothers on campus by surveying students, staff and faculty. Click to take the survey, which should take no longer than five minutes to complete.

To support breastfeeding, Emory maintains lactation rooms in a variety of locations on campus.
