Emory University
Woodruff Health Sciences Center

The 4th Southeastern Immunology Symposium, hosted by Emory University School of Medicine, will be held June 13 and 14, 2015 at Emory University. The symposium will provide a forum for researchers to share the newest developments in basic, translational and clinical immunology and to form new research partnerships.

The symposium will feature invited research presentations by 17 faculty from leading institutions across the Southeast as well as three keynote speakers discussing their recent advances: Jeffrey Bluestone, PhD (University of California San Francisco), Olivera J. Finn, PhD (University of Pittsburgh), and Wayne Yokoyama, MD (Washington University). Interactive poster sessions will be a main feature of the program, allowing labs and trainees to present their work. The American Association of Immunologists will sponsor poster presentation awards.

“This annual symposium has been extremely successful in facilitating research collaborations among scientists and laboratories throughout our region,” says Jeremy M. Boss, PhD, professor and chair of the Department of Microbiology and Immunology in Emory University School of Medicine. “Emory looks forward to hosting the symposium and helping to highlight the ground breaking discoveries of scientists, fellows and students in the region..”

The event will take place at Emory University, Woodruff Health Sciences Center Administration Building (WHSCAB), 1440 Clifton Road, Atlanta, GA 30322.
