April is National Donate Life Month and Emory is honoring that with a live web chat about organ donation and paired donor exchange on Tuesday, April 28, at noon.
Sign up for the live chat to be hosted by Nicole Turgeon, a physician in the Emory Transplant Center, who will answer questions about donating organs and how paired donor exchange works. Turgeon, an associate professor of medicine, is director of the Kidney-Pancreas Transplant Program and surgical director of the Pair Donor Exchange Program.
This online event is an opportunity to highlight the growing need for organ and tissue donation and remind people to sign up to become organ, eye and tissue donors.
