Hear and meet 'Beethoven in Bluejeans' at family concert

Meet master composer Ludwig van Beethoven as the Vega String Quartet and pianist William Ransom perform a variety of music from Bach to the present on Sunday, April 12, at 4 p.m. at the Michael C. Carlos Museum.

"Beethoven in Bluejeans!" features "Beethoven" himself commenting on his life and music as selections of his work are played.

Wear blue jeans or casual attire to hear this final Family Series concert of the season from the Emory Chamber Music Society of Atlanta (ECMSA).

While the concert is designed for young audiences, the event is for all ages.

All ECMSA concerts are free of charge, but contributions towards a matching challenge grant to keep a string quartet in residence at Emory and in Atlanta permanently are encouraged. Free parking is available at Fishburne and Oxford Road decks.
