At the Dobbs University Center, summer hours are driven by conference traffic, says Jonathan R. Duke, assistant director of programs and night operations.

The DUC will be open from 7 a.m.-8 p.m., now through Aug. 4.  The information/ticket desk will be open from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. daily.

"We will continue to offer great discounts for the entire Emory community to local Atlanta attractions," says Duke, such as the Atlanta Zoo, the Georgia Aquarium, Six Flags, movies and more.

For current prices, visit the ticketing site on www.duc.emory.edu. "You can even use web discounts for Six Flags from the site," says Duke. "For up-to-date information on summer specials, I encourage folks to like our Facebook page or follow us on Twitter @EmoryDUC where we will post additional specials."

At the Woodruff P.E. Center, "we are in our summer hours until the Sunday prior to classes starting back up in August," says Mike Toce, facilities director.

Summer facility hours are 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

For summer Fitness Emory class schedule and prices, go to www.rec.emory.edu. A variety of classes are being offered, including yoga, Pilates, cardio kickboxing and more.

New for this summer, Toce says, "our head swimming and diving coach will be offering an adult swim lesson” for those that would like to learn how to swim. This opportunity is being offered through Emory Community Swimming.
