Emory Johns Creek Hospital (EJCH) will host its annual Ladies' Night Out event dedicated to women's wellness on Thursday, February 22 from 6 to 8:30 p.m.

Women will have access to free health screenings including: glucose, cholesterol, blood pressure, body mass index and bone density.

Attendees will have a chance to hear from clinicians during a panel discussion at 6 p.m.

Renato Santos, MD, Emory Healthcare cardiologist, Katie Collins, RN, EJCH Stroke Coordinator and Jennifer Graham, MSN, FNP-BC, Emory Heart and Vascular Center will educate women about cardiovascular disease and signs of heart attack and stroke.

Marilyn Margolis, Emory Johns Creek Hospital CEO encourages women of all ages to attend the community event to learn more about ways to maintain good health.

"As women, we are often so focused on taking care of our family needs that we put our own needs aside," says Margolis. "This free community event gives women an opportunity to meet with doctors to check on themselves and learn ways to lead healthier lives and be role models for their families."

The event will also feature a vendor expo showcasing local retailers and offering beauty and fitness tips and a chance to enter drawings to win raffle prizes.

An array of desserts and beverages will be served.
