Tracy L. Crump named as Executive Director of the Foundation of Wesley Woods

Wesley Woods Senior Living has named Tracy L. Crump as the new Executive Director of the Foundation of Wesley Woods, effective January 21, 2014.  As Executive Director, Tracy will be responsible for leading the fundraising efforts of the Foundation of Wesley Woods and serve as a senior member of the Wesley Woods leadership team.

"For 60 years, Wesley Woods has been a pioneer in geriatric housing and healthcare, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to join the dedicated cadre of volunteers, outstanding Board of Directors and wonderful staff that will guide the future growth of the organization.  I am also very excited to be celebrating the 25th Anniversary of our annual Heroes, Saints and Legends gala at the Ritz-Carlton on March 15th and hope to meet many of our dedicated donors and inspiring role models for positive aging on that special evening," Tracy said.

Chairman of the Board of Directors and Emory University Professor of Geriatric Medicine, Dr. A. Jefferson Lesesne commented, "Tracy brings a wealth of experience to Wesley Woods; we are incredibly fortunate to have her join the team, and working to establish long-lasting, rewarding relationships with our supporters."  

Kenneth R. Weber, President and CEO of Wesley Woods Senior Living and the Foundation of Wesley Woods, added, "Tracy’s leadership capabilities and relationship building skills will be an integral part of our partnership with Emory Healthcare and the North Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church in caring for older adults in Georgia well into the future."

Most recently, Tracy served as first Executive Director of the Georgia CIO Leadership Association, the preeminent professional association for senior technology executives.  A proven and successful executive with over 20 years of leadership experience in both for-profit and non-profit organizations, Tracy’s experience includes positions as COO of the Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta, CEO of Girl Scouts Heart of the South, Vice President of Enterprise Support Services for ServiceMaster, and as a National Account Manager for AT&T.        

Tracy is also the incoming Chair of the United Way of Greater Atlanta’s Women of Tocqueville Cabinet, Chair of the United Way Leading a Life of Purpose annual women’s leadership event, and an active volunteer and supporter of Year Up, where she was named the 2014 Mentor of the Year.

Tracy is a graduate of the University of Memphis where she earned her degree in Business Administration, Marketing.  She is also an alumnus of the Diversity Leadership Academy of Atlanta Class of 2011 and the Atlanta Women’s Foundation’s Women on Board and holds a Six Sigma Green Belt. Tracy is married to husband, Lee, and together they have three beautiful daughters and a granddaughter.  The family currently resides in Milton, Georgia.
