Bike Emory has new specials, sale prices for fall

Bike Emory has a new special for the academic year — for bikes purchased through the Bike Emory program, the first flat tire is fixed for free. This is in addition to free bike assembly, free maintenance for 90 days and U-locks, while supplies last.

Fall specials are available at bike.emory.edu, including sale prices on bikes and will last until supply runs out, according to Jamie Smith, Bike Emory coordinator.

Bike Emory now rents bikes.  There are a limited number of bikes available for rental at costs of $75 per semester or $130 per academic year. Learn more at bike.emory.edu/rental.

Safety classes are offered each year. Check bike.emory.edu for dates, which Smith says are in the process of being scheduled.

Bicycle South is Bike Emory's partner for sales, supplies and maintenance and runs the Hub, a repair center located at the Dobbs University Center.

Bicycle South and Bike Emory will also be at Emory College Orientation on Aug. 25 and 26.
