Emory documentary to re-air July 31 and Aug. 5

"The Wise Heart: The Story of Emory University" will be broadcast on Tuesday, July 31 at 7 p.m. and Sunday Aug. 5 at 9 p.m. on Public Broadcasting Atlanta.


"The Wise Heart: The Story of Emory University" will be broadcast on Tuesday, July 31 at 7 p.m. and Sunday Aug. 5 at 9 p.m. on Public Broadcasting Atlanta (PBA 30).

The hour-long documentary premiered in April on the station.


In June, “The Wise Heart” was released on DVD with interviews and other materials not included in the broadcast version. The DVD is available for sale at the Barnes & Noble at Emory Bookstore. A discount is available with an Emory ID.


Created in a collaboration between Emory and producer-director David Hughes Duke, the program takes viewers on a richly textured journey through Emory’s historic milestones from a small, Methodist college to a multi-faceted, modern research university.
