On July 9, Asbury Circle will close and DeKalb County will begin construction to replace a sagging sanitary sewer line.

Asbury Circle is located at the center of campus, near the Dobbs University Center and Emory University Hospital, extending to the Woodruff Library.

The scope of the work requires a complete closure of Asbury Circle to vehicles and limited access for pedestrian traffic. Aug. 20 is the expected completion date for the sewer line work.

According to Project Manager Tom Tarantino, it is important to note the handicap parking spaces along Asbury Circle, adjacent to Emory University Hospital Annex, will be temporarily removed and existing parking behind Smith Hall will remain. Vehicles will not be allowed on the work zone site.
