'Hot Lips' to attend Emory's special screening of 'M.A.S.H.'

Hollywood film star and singer Sally Kellerman joins Emory's Department of Film and Media Studies for a screening of Robert Altman's 1970 classic anti-war film "M*A*S*H*," on Sunday, July 29 at 10:15 a.m. at Atlanta's Landmark Midtown Art Theater.

After the screening, Kellerman will talk about the making of the hit film in a discussion moderated by Emory film studies professor Eddy von Mueller. A VIP champagne brunch follows at Apres Diem.

Kellerman was nominated for an Oscar for her legendary comic performance as Major Margaret "Hot Lips" Houlihan in "M*A*S*H*." She has appeared in over 90 films and TV shows. Kellerman has also pursued her singing career in album recordings and cabaret shows.


Event tickets can be purchased online. The screening and discussion are $25. Tickets that include the VIP brunch and a reserved seat at the screening are $75.

Proceeds benefit Friends of Film in the Department of Film and Media Studies at Emory University.
