Emory documentary now available on DVD

"The Wise Heart: The Story of Emory University" is now available on DVD.

The University's first hour-long TV documentary aired in April on Public Broadcasting Atlanta (PBA 30). Produced and directed by independent filmmaker David Hughes Duke, the program takes viewers on a richly textured journey through the historic milestones that helped a small, Methodist college grow into a multi-faceted, modern research university.

DVDs of "The Wise Heart" are available for sale at the Barnes & Noble at Emory Bookstore. A discount is available with an Emory ID. Emory organizations interested in bulk purchases may contact wiseheart@emory.edu with a SmartKey account, quantity and delivery address.

"'The Wise Heart' broadcast was the capstone of Emory's 175th anniversary year celebrations," says Ron Sauder, vice president for communications and marketing. "The DVD makes a wonderful keepsake and provides a quick and memorable introduction to the heritage that makes Emory special."
