Emory inaugurates Claire E. Sterk as university's 20th president
An internationally acclaimed public health researcher and Emory faculty member since 1995, President Claire E. Sterk is the first woman and first social scientist to lead the university.

U.S. Poet Laureate Juan Felipe Herrera will give a free reading at Emory's Schwartz Center for Performing Arts at 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19. Tickets are not required, but seating will be limited.
